Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of how ORBIT handles information.

1. Overview

ORBIT is a music-player companion for your Apple Music library. This policy explains what information is used when you use ORBIT and why. We keep the app deliberately private: ORBIT does not run ads and does not sell personal information.

2. Apple Music access

With your permission, ORBIT uses Apple Music and Media Library access to read the albums, playlists, tracks, artwork and playback information needed to present and play your library. This access is controlled by iOS. You can revoke it at any time in Settings.

ORBIT does not upload a copy of your Apple Music library to our own server. Playback, catalog availability and Apple Music account eligibility are governed by Apple and your Apple Music subscription.

3. Purchases and ORBIT Pro

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. ORBIT uses RevenueCat as a purchase-management service to verify and restore ORBIT Pro entitlements. RevenueCat may process purchase status, transaction history, an app user identifier, device/app identifiers and technical diagnostics necessary to provide that service.

We use this information only to make Pro features available, restore a purchase and resolve purchase support issues. We do not use it for advertising, cross-app tracking or marketing profiles. RevenueCat's handling of information is also subject to its own privacy policy.

4. Information stored on your device

ORBIT stores preferences locally on your device, such as language, selected home view, sleep timer, music visual preferences, sticker positions and Pro feature settings. This lets your setup persist between launches. Removing the app removes this locally stored app data.

5. Information we do not access

ORBIT does not request or use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or advertising identifier. ORBIT does not contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

6. Support and communications

If you email us, we receive the information you include in that message and use it solely to answer your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or account information by email.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when ORBIT changes or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

ORBIT 会在您的设备本地保存语言、首页视图、睡眠定时、音波视觉、贴纸位置及 Pro 功能设置等偏好，以便下次启动时保留您的设置。删除 App 会移除这些本地 App 数据。

5. 我们不会访问的信息

ORBIT 不会请求或使用您的定位、通讯录、相机、麦克风、照片或广告标识符。ORBIT 不包含第三方广告 SDK，也不会跨 App 或网站跟踪您。

6. 支持与沟通

如果您通过邮件联系我们，我们会收到您在邮件中主动提供的信息，并仅用于回复您的请求。请不要通过邮件发送敏感的个人信息或账户信息。

7. 更新与联系

当 ORBIT 功能或适用法律发生变化时，我们可能更新本政策。最新版本会发布在本页面，并标注更新后的生效日期。
